THE STORY
The story of HUMXNS
HUMXNS is an initiative to raise awareness regarding the different types of people. The baseline is that we all have a soul and so many differences in which we can learn, connect, respect each other and live in peace/harmony together. The vision of creating a better world for all of us to live in leads to HUMXNS.
The intention of HUMXNS is to sell merchandise in order to raise funding for The Alphabet Community, which supports us financially to continue with our vision. Every limited edition has unique stories, giving our members the opportunity to support us in achieving the goals & giving back to the Queer Community World Wide. In away you could think of it as crowdfunding and supporting the Queer Community. In short… you’ll be shopping, looking stylish and enjoying the limited items.

FIRST COLLECTION
BORN TO BE PERFECT!
BORN TO BE PERFECT! is the first limited collection of HUMXNS which is available in Hoodies, Sweaters and T-shirts!
First we’ll start by sharing why we’ve chosen this oneliner to kick-off our merchandise….
We believe that everyone has the right to be who they are & that everyone deserves to live happily as a free spirit. At the same we also believe that HUMXNS come in many different shapes, colours, background etc. There’s so much more than the binary system of male and female, which can be found across various religions and cultures globally.
Everyone should be free to live their lives as they please (without causing harm to people, children and animals). We encourage the global community to embrace the differences and focus on the unity of our souls.
At this moment our Community experiences many difficulties regarding being their true authentic selves. Here are a few examples regarding what if?
You're attracted to the same gender or all genders?
You're a person who really wants to have a child with or without a partner?
You're a person who doesn't want to marry and/or have children?
You're born in a male body and identify as a female?
You're born in a female body and identify as a male?
You're non-binary and/or gender fluid?

Trigger warning related to mental health & life
Many years ago I (Miem – Founder of The Alphabet Community) came back to The Netherlands and started high school in Utrecht (my birth town). Coming back to NL from Suriname, South America was an interesting dynamic (will share more about this in the following story telling content).
Long story short, I made a best friend and his name was Danny. He was very special to me and still has a place in my heart. Throughout our 4 years of high school he was bullied because people assumed he was gay. When I say bullied I mean literally targeted and bullied every day, while being on school and even in the weekends. After graduation we didn’t have much contact in the summer holidays. One day people came at our door and were looking for me… I received a message that Danny wasn’t with us anymore. At this point I broke down and had a hard time believing it. How was it possible that my best friend wasn’t with us anymore? I was furious, filled with anger and pain as I stepped up when his parents asked me for help regarding the ceremony.
This was one of the most difficult chapters in my life and I knew I couldn’t accept this as a type of world to live in. For many years I’ve carried this with me and was contemplating how to create a better world for us HUMXNS to live in. Today with much pride I say ‘Deze is voor jou Danny…” meaning this one is for you… You were born to be perfect… I still miss you and wish you would have been here with me during this journey of The Alphabet Community.

113 Suicide Prevention
The Alphabet Community is part of the Dutch 113 suicide prevention database. Members can reach out and ask for our support group — a community of members willing to help each other.
130 Countries Reached
We've created a platform which reached HUMXNS in 130 countries. Together we will continue empowering our members to be their true authentic selves all over the world.
Digital Safe Spaces
We offer a digital safe space with insights into safe spaces worldwide and their events. Everyone is invited to participate in dialogues about HUMXNS.

We see you. So many HUMXNS struggle in silence with life, mental health, and the darkest of thoughts — and we want you to hear this loud and clear: you matter, and you belong here.

How your purchase helps
If you would buy our merchandise items you’re supporting us in the financial area regarding the further development and maintenance of the platform, the content creation and us giving back to the community.
Part of the income generated by HUMXNS merchandise will be used to help our members. For example: HUMXNS is open for sponsoring related to our members. So far we’ve sponsored the rugby club Black Panthers in The Netherlands.
